What was the equation?
From picture, it is clear that,
Pair of shoes = 20, single shoe = 10
Man = 5
Goggles = 2
Single Glove = 20
Now, equation in question has man with 2 shoes, 2 gloves and 1 goggles hence his value in equation = 20 + 40 + 5 + 2 = 67
Hence, final equation appears as
10 + 67 x 2 = 144.
The answer is 144.

Which areas are into comparison?
Actually, areas of both are equal. The diagonal divide the rectangle into 2 halves. So triangle A and A' or B and B' have equal areas.
When diagonal divides the area of main rectangle into 2 halves, area of triangles A (or A') and area of triangle B (or B') are further subtracted from each half to get the areas of the shaded region.
Since equal areas are subtracted from triangles formed by diagonal to get the shaded area, the area of shaded parts are equal.
That is from each half area subtracted = A + B = A' + B'.

What was the challenge?
All that we need to do is that remove these differently colored 9 matchsticks.
So we get,
There can be other variations of this answer but we have to remove 9 matchsticks at least to make sure there is no square.

Where the game stands?
1.Move Rook to b3 i.e. perform Rb3.
2.That will force opponent to move king to a5 i.e. execute Ka5.
3. Finally, now move Rook to a3 (Ra3) and Checkmate the opponent.

What was the question?
Just count the intersecting points.
First one has 9, second one has only 1 & third has 4.
Hence, the answer is 4.

First know the current situation on the board!
Just kill the Black Rook by pawn with the move C7 = > B8. Revive KNIGHT at that position to check mate the opponent straightway. Here, opponent can't use bishop at D6 to kill our knight as in that case his king will be in line of attack of our rook at D1.

Look at the question first!
Let's take a look at the puzzle again.
First thing, we should observe in such puzzles that how objects in the question equation differs from those in given equations.
Here, pair of the sneakers appears as it is in the question while pair of whistles reduced to 1 whistle in question.
And if we look closely the cat, the whistle around the neck is missing in the question.
Now from equation (1), pair of sneakers = 10.
From equation (2), Cat = 5.
From equation (3), 2 whistles = 4; hence 1 whistle = 2.
Here, we can deduce that cat without whistle in question is CAT - WHISTLE = 5 - 2 = 3.
So the equation in question comes out as, 10 + 3 X 2 = 10 + 6 = 16.

Or a look at the question itself?
Let's look at the puzzle once again.
From first equation, it is clear that figure = 15. But the figure itself made up of square (4 sides) + polygon (5 sides) + hexagon (6 sides) = 15.
From second equation, we have bunch of 4 bananas = 4 i.e. 1 banana = 1.
And from third equation, we have 3 hours in clock = 3 i.e. 1 hours = 1.
Hence, in fourth equation, value of clock = 2, 3 bananas = 3, figure = sides of hexagon + sides of pentagons = 6 + 5 = 11.
2 + 3 + 3 x 11 = 38
Hence, answer is 38.
